There are a lot of tour operators in Santiago that offer both city tours and day trips. Most tours pick you up at your hotel and drop you off there afterward. Generally, tour guides are bilingual, speaking Spanish and English. If you are short on time, try one of the hop-on, hop-off city bus tours. Day tours to vineyards and neighboring Valparaíso and Viña del Mar are fairly expensive; it’s much cheaper to arrange day trips yourself.
