Another worthy CHIP tour is the Human Rights Walking Tour. This service is the only one in Santiago that explores the 17-year Pinochet dictatorship and its dramatic consequences. You can do a full- or half-day trip that tours the city, its harrowing history and present-day culture (Half-day: $70 per person, full-day: $180 per person).
