On the highlands of the city are two miradores giving views of the city rolling down to the shores of the Straits and across the Estrecho de Magallanes to the mythical land of Tierra del Fuego. Mirador de los Soñadores is a small park on the median of Avenida Colón. The second look-out point, Cerro Mirador, is located atop a bluff on Calle Señoret, between Seguel and Fagnano. This terraced plaza gives a less obstructed view of the almost-end of the world. It is located above the commercial port, from where you can watch ships plowing the icy waters toward further horizons.
