Museo Regional Salesiano Maggiorino Borgatello is considered one of the most complete museums on the natural and human history of the Patagonia. The first level has an extensive collection of stuffed birds as part of the Fauna halls and a replica of the Cuevas de las Manos (near Perito Moreno, Argentina). On the second level are life-size exhibits illustrating Kaweskar (Alacaluf), Yámana (Yaganes), Selk’nam (Ona) and Aónikenk (Tehuelche) customs, and the Salesian missionary work in the region. On the third story are more displays of indigenous and missionary history, plus some on Antarctica and its exploration. On the fourth floor you can lerarn all about Patagonian petroleum and other regional industries.
