Open all year-long, the Hostal del Rey is family-run and conveniently located just a block and a half from the Plaza de Armas. The snug, cheerily decorated rooms are comfortably furnished and come with cable TV and private bathrooms with showers and 24-hour hot water. They have singles, doubles, triples and quadruples. This place is popular, in part due to the friendly staff, so you’d be advised to book in advance for a spot here. Services offered include laundry, baggage store and fax. They also sell maps.
