Safety in Punta Arenas

Like any big city there is always a level of common sense involved while exploring a new town. Due to the international attention, business and tourism that Punta Arenas sees, any traveler can feel comfortable walking the downtown streets, even at night. For help, call: police at 133, fire at 132, and ambulance at 131
