Hostal Lluhay

With a welcome sign that has “B&B” translated into some 60 languages, Hostal LLuhay is nothing if not ambitious. The 20 well-appointed rooms, ranging from singles to mini-apartments (all with private bathrooms), are comfortable but unspectacular. Where Hostal Lluhay really shines is in its common spaces, filled with plants and a veritable museum of trinkets. There are cheaper options in Ancud, though you’d be hard-pressed to find accommodation with more character. And how many hostels will you find that brew their own beer? WiFi and parking are available, and the owners will be happy to help you organize excursions. Breakfast is included, but this is a cash only hostal.
