Don’t be fooled by the worn, oddly triangular building—Hostería de Castro packs some serious luxury inside. With a heated swimming pool, spa, and optional stone massages, this is the place to spend some cash and forget about your worries. The hotel actually has two sections—the older main building, which has 29 well-equipped, if unspectacular and somewhat institutional rooms, and a newer annex with 20 modern, stylish, and more expensive suites, flat-panel TVs and wonderfully large windows for soaking up views of the bay. Such comforts don’t come cheap, but if you have the money to spend, this is a good place to use it.
