La Nave is simple and unpretentious—you don’t come here for the faded, burnt-red cement floors—but the restaurant has friendly service and reasonably priced seafood and shellfish dishes. Try tasty platters like the bed of clams topped with melted parmesan cheese ($4). The portions could stand to be larger, though. There’s no fixed-price daily lunch menu, and keep in mind that this is a smoking-allowed establishment. Snag a table by the window for a view of the waterfront.
