Thirty-eight km SW of Ancud Chiloé Island there is a small location Chepu with 200 inhabitants. In this place you will find the Dead Tree Valley that was created by the biggest ever registered earthquake followed by a huge tsunami that devastated thousands of trees and the terrain lowered by two meters. Today wetlands with anatonishing view and nesting place of birds you can visit in kayaks.
