Eateries within the park are a bit limited. El Arrayán (Tel: 56-99-219-3565), a small café near the park entrance, is a great place to stop for breakfast before a day of hiking. Meals run from $5 to $7. There is also a restaurant in the hostel Parador Darwin (Tel: 56-99-799-9923), where, for $6 to $8, diners can enjoy Chilote cuisine mixed with Hungarian and German recipes. Otherwise, when staying on campgrounds, it’s a good idea to stock up on food in one of the markets in Cucao.
