An old mansion is the setting for Hotel Gamboa. Upon walking in, you are immersed in the abode's age. The Victorian clutter in the small lobby is punctuated by lace curtains, throws on the chairs and doilies. Fine wool carpeting and wallpaper frame the setting. Gamboa has that musty smell old houses have. This ambiance flows to the upper two floors here the guest rooms are. Some have their own baths, but most share the common ones. The price for a night's rest is comfortable, making it a popular hostel, and includes a común y corriente (plain old ordinary) breakfast.
