Each Chilean region is allowed one casino and Puerto Varas is the Lakes Region’s choice for gambling. This classy, stylish, modern building is a stone’s throw away from the lake. It offers over 300 slot machines, roulette, black jack, crap tables, royal 21, bingo, and anything else that would be found at a Las Vegas casino, including a VIP area, two bars and a restaurant. There is live music most weekends. There is an entrance fee of 1500 Chilean pesos (US$3) to gamble, no cover for the restaurant. The casino is, by far, the biggest draw for nightlife in the area and tends to have a crowd any night of the week.
