When to go
Most rainfall occurs in Los Vilos during the summer months of December to Febraury. However, that does not stop thousands of tourists from flocking to the beaches in this small town. Febraury is the busiest month of the year in Los Vilos because of the Semaña Vileña (Vilos Week) as well as June when the Festival of Saint Peter (Fiesta de San Pedro Pescador) takes place. Winter months there is not much to do in this beach town.
