Driving northbound on the Pan-American Highway you find Las Cascabeles restaurant near the exit for Los Vilos, before the exit for Illapel. What looks like a reasonable roadside restaurant is actually expensive. On V!VA's last visit the food seemed to be cooked without care and was swimming in oil. Additionally, the portions were below average size and the prices are not cheap. Also, the toilets have no paper, no soap and cold water. Not a good place to stop if you're looking for services when on a long journey.
