Termas de Socos - Other Activity Ovalle - Chile

Far removed from the rest of the world, the hot springs in the tiny town of Socos annually attracts families, retirees and other travelers. Though the hot springs are natural, they have been channeled into small private baths at two neighboring sites—a resort hotel and a nearby campground. The hotel consists of a collection of small rooms connected by an outdoor walkway, a large sitting area full of antiques and archeological artifacts, and a lush natural landscape complete with relaxing background music. The camping area is family-friendly, with a swimming pool, playground, and picnic area. The hot springs can be fairly hard to access without your own vehicle, as there are no regular buses that pass nearby.
