There are some decent cheap options in Antofagasta, as well as high-end places, but not too much in the middle so plan on roughing it at a place like Hotel Brasil or Hotel Isla Capri, or spend between $70-100 for typical American chain hotels such as the Radisson or the Holiday Inn Express.
