On the beach between downtown Arica and Playa Chinchorro, Hotel Bahía has Mediterranean-style architecture set in a palm-shaded estate. All 16 of its rooms have sea views and a balcony or patio, if on the first story. The simply furnished rooms are spacious with common or private bath. Hotel Bahía also provides excursions to Parque Nacional Lauca, as well as mountain bikes, horseback riding and birdwatching. It is a half-kilometer (0.3 miles) from the bus terminals and the train station.
