Getting to and away from Huara
Huara is on the west side of Ruta 5 (the Pan-American Highway), 26 kilometers (15.6 mi) north of Humberstone and Ruta A-16 for Iquique. To get to Huara from Iquique with public transportation, take any bus heading to Arica ($8). Some tours include Huara and the other sites along Ruta 5 on their itinerary.
