New Mango’s Club - Bar Iquique - Chile

Friday and Saturday nights, salsa reigns at New Mango’s Club. A DJ spins the wax from 10 p.m. until the band takes the stage at 1:30 a.m. Then the place really begins grooving. Take a break from the medium-sized dance floor at one of the many tables and booths, and wipe the sweat off. Gaze out the long picture window onto the night sea while having a cocktail with friends. But Mango’s isn’t just a place to dance until el canto del gallo (cock’s crow). It also serves lunch specials, à la carte dinners, tables and pizzas. Lunch $7.60, à la carte $6.40-10.40. Open Tuesday-Sunday 12:30-4 p.m., 8 p.m.-4 a.m. (to 5 a.m. Friday, Saturday).
