The tourism office is located at the corner of Toconao and Gustavo le Paige (Tel: 55-851420). It is open Monday to Friday 9:30 a.m.-1 p.m. and 3-7 p.m., and Saturday 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Posta Médica is the local medical clinic located on Toconao along the Plaza de Armas. The post office is at Toconoa 423, and money can be exchanged nearby at Casa de Cambio. The international calling center Entel is located at Caracoles 259-C or send an E-mail from Café Etnico (Tocopilla 423). Viento Norte at Vilama 432-B does laundry, but you are probably better off checking to see if your hostal has service first. At the moment there are two ATMs in town, though they often run out of cash so it is better to be safe and bring enough cash from Calama or Antofagasta. The first ATM is found in a handicrafts store without an address next to 119 Caracoles. The other is located on Gustavo Le Paige, two minutes from the Plaza de Armas. Many establishments do take credit cards but not all, so bring enough cash.
