Flights To and From Bogotá
International flights and internal flights with Aeropublica leave from and arrive at the Aeropuerto El Dorado (Avenida El Dorado 93-30, 571-425- 1000). A newer terminal, the Aeropuente, has been built about a kilometer from El Dorado. All domestic Avianca flights leave from here. When traveling by taxi to the airport the driver will ask you to specify which airport (El Dorado or the Aeropuente).
Buses To and From Bogotá
Buses leave from Terminal de Transportes (Diagonal 23 No 69-60, 571-423-3630 / 416-3951) for every part of Colombia. For bus travel to closer destinations such as Zipaquirá, Guatavita, Suesca and Villa de Leyva, take the Transmilenio to the northernmost station (Portal del Norte) and then catch a small interurban bus. Bear in mind that you can negotiate bus fares in Colombia. Do not accept the first rate offered.
Bogotá Trains (to Zipaquira and around)
The Turistren leaves from Sabana Station on Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays bound for Zipaquirá and the surrounding area. This is not a regular transport train but a tourist activity.
