La Moderna

La Moderna is a wonderful restaurant across from the National Museum in one of Bogota's beautiful brick buildings. Adorning a pleasant view of Monserrate, La Moderna is perfect for lunch, dinner or simply to enjoy a few authentic salsa tunes. The cuisine included some typical Colombian favorites, nicely paired with the Chef's fabulous creations. The service is exceptional and the staff treats you like a guest in their home. La Moderna is ideal for any occasion; lunch with a friend, drinks and appetizers after work, or for a fun filled night of dancing to great music. La Moderna is open late Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings.

Traveler Reviews of La Moderna

La Moderna es Musica!

My husband and I fell in love with La Moderna while visiting Bogota last month. We dined there on several occasions, for lunch during the week then dinner and dancing on Friday/Saturday nights. The place is fun and has a really great vibe. Their theme is vinyl records and the restaurant is decorated with the colorful album covers of some of the greatest salsa artists of all time! As for the food, I love a good piece of meat or fish, both of which are prepared exceptionally by the very friendly Chef. The mero fish and patacones was my favorite! The view of Monserrate is a definite plus. Whatever your mood, La Moderna is a wonderful choice.
