Inexplicably still in business, the Hotel Aragon is an understandable option for those seeking a cheap bed far from the noise, bustle or dormitories of a regular hostel. Be warned, last we checked it appeared as though the management here had failed to invest any money in hotel upkeep since the 1950s. Still, it's an option for a private room at bargain basement prices.

Getting There:
Like most budget accommodation in the Candelaria, the Aragon can be found close the Parque de Los Periodistas, an easy stroll from Las Aguas or Museo del Oro Transmilenio stops. The nearest bus will take you to Carrera 4 with 14, 1 block away.
