Climb just a few blocks from the bustling downtown center and you'll find La Macarena, a charming neighborhood of funky restaurants, cozy cafés and artisan stores, mainly concentrated on calles 26 and 27. Here you'll find friendly locals, a brightly colored yoga studio, and perhaps the only true tapas bar in Bogota. This laid-back neighborhood is a magnet for the young and the youthful, and has one of the largest concentrations of expats within the small barrio.
