El Almacenito de Margoth

Right on the plaza, in the Casa de la Cultura, Margarita (Margoth) Bermúdez has a shop. This space features not only her creations, but also those of other artisans of the village. Here you can purchase stone and wood carvings, boxes, fique fashion accessories, paintings and candies, for which this pueblo has some renowned pieces (the alfajores are simply divine). A special item doña Margoth carries is ceramics by the only living Guane indigenous that follows traditional designs and techniques.
