Mid Range Hotels in Bucaramanga
Bucaramanga has the full price range of lodging options, from extremely cheap, yet decent hotels to fine business class hotels. The cheapest options are located right downtown, mainly around Calle 31 and Carrera 20. Be forewarned, however, that inns here double as brothels. To sift that chaff from the wheat, look for signs that say ambiente familiar, or family atmosphere (meaning the place is decent enough for the whole family to stay there). More up-scale hotels are between the Zona Rosa and Cabecera areas of the city.
