Religion

By Lorraine Caputo

Bucaramanga is a religiously diverse city. The Hare Krishnas have a strong presence here, with a restaurant and a retreat center. Bahai’is have a home here also (Calle 35 21-47, Tel: 7-645-3203). Purportedly there is a mosque serving Bucaramanga’s significant Muslim community. Contact information for most non-Catholic houses of worship can be found in the telephone directory.
