All Restaurants in Cúcuta

By Lorraine Caputo

Cúcuta has the whole gamut of lodging choices from dubious residencies to full-luxury hotels. However, due to the safety issues of the city, it might be more advisable to pass the night in Pamplona, two hours away. For those travelling with their own transportation, it is better to stay away from the city center and its nightmare traffic. Many cheap options are on Avenida 7, near the bus terminal; some are questionable, but those proclaiming ambiente familiar are usually decent enough for the whole family to stay in. Only upper-class inns will have hot water.
