Adventure sportspeople can delve into the depths of Cueva de Culichal, practice torrentismo at Cascadas de Miranda, or rock climb Peñas del Cabío and Colorada, near Enciso. Several of the interesting small villages have balnearios, or swimming spas. Concepción is well-known for woollen textiles; Cerritos for its wind-swept páramo.
