Spelunkers, get ready for a bit of exploration. Cueva de Calichal—Calichal Cave—is awaiting you. The first chamber is easily accessed by anyone. Just slip through that fissure in the rocks. But if you really want to see the bowels of this piece of earth, festooned with stalagmites and stalactites, get your ropes and clamps out. It takes a bit more expertise and devotion to get into these depths. While you’re out this way at Vereda Calichal, enjoy the waterfall and the pool at its base, called the Cascada y Pozo Borbollón.
