Located a half-block from the obelisk in Plazuela Almeida, the Hotel El Llano is one of Pamplona’s cheapest inns promising an ambiente familiar, or family atmosphere. Most of the small, brick-block rooms have windows facing onto the central patio. The better habitaciones and common bath are on the newer second story. All share the common, hot water baths, save one that has a private baño. The smell of cleanliness pervades the air. Something uncommon about this Colombian hostel: no rooms have television, thus allowing it to charge such an economical price. Guests can use the laundry area to wash clothes.
