The wettest months are usually March to April and October; the driest is December. The town is especially crowded with tourists during Semana Santa and the 4th of July festivities. The city's beat pulses with its University. When there are classes--January to June and August to the beginning of December--Pamplona hops with many cultural events and a vibrant nightclub scene. But, as with college towns wherever, once the students go on break, the city becomes a sleepier village with fewer services.
