A comfortable, dimly lit establishment that serves mostly liquor and little coffee. Despite the canned music that at times can be a bit too loud, it’s still one of the most favorite places to hang out, chew the fat, expound on a professor’s lecture and have a few drinks. Ah, if you’re a more solitary soul—or want to be a fly on the wall and watch the unfolding scene—just take a corner table. (But be forewarned: they are also sought out by those there with their someone-specials.) During the academic calendar, live music is slated at times. Open off-season Friday and Saturday only, 8 p.m.-2 a.m.
