The newest hotel in El Cocuy, Casa Muñoz has sharp rooms in a new annex of a colonial-era house. Each room, named after one of the mountains in the national park, has cable TV and baths with gas-heated hot water. Upstairs rooms have lofts with more mattresses, which are sure to be a hit with the kids. This inn has only one room with a single bed; the others are multi-bed. A restaurant will soon be a part of Casa Muñoz’ services.
