Coopserguías is a cooperative of campesinos residing within Parque Nacional Natural El Cocuy. The down-to-earth souls of Coopserguías know the region like the back of their grizzled hands, and now are pooling together their resources and decades of knowledge to provide services to Cocuy explorers.
They offer lodging, horses, equipment for rent and guides for treks and mountain climbing. Coopserguias works in cooperation with the national park service. The sign over the door says Oficina Ecoturismo—AENCO (Asociación Ecoturístico Nevado El Cocuy). The office has irregular hours, so it is best to call or e-mail.
