Restaurants
If the eating options are slim in El Cocuy village, they are even more sparse in Güicán. Almost all of the diners are attached to the few hotels. The municipal market is at Carrera 4 and Calle 2. Güicán is famous for its cheeses. The factory has no store. The product is distributed to shops in the town. At times (especially in the high season) the cheese quickly sells out.
Nightlife
Güicán has very few night clubs or drinking establishments and all are rough-and-tumble types of places that even Colombian tourists won’t frequent.
