Hotel Brisa del Nevado’s restaurant is a surprising member of Güicán’s meager dining scene. Its two rooms are smartly decorated in a country style, and the doorways onto the streets are screened with glass and wood inserts accented with a wrought-iron vine motif. In the evening, candlelight illuminates these intimate spaces, creating a romantic place to have a last repast before leaving the Cocuy region behind. All meals cost $2.65. Open 7-8 a.m. for breakfast, noon-1:30 p.m. for lunch and 7-8 p.m. for dinner.
