Kabañas Kanwara is probably the most luxurious inn in the park district. The three cabañas have five rooms each (one to three beds each, plus table) and hot-water shower. Their balconies have a fine view of the Ritaku'was and the cordillera (mountains). Two of the lodges have kitchenettes, but no stove (use your camper). You can even warm up your feet in front of the fireplace before crawling into your blanket-laden bed. The restaurant serves excellent food ($3.70 per meal). Horses and guides are available for treks to Ritacu'wa Blanco ($13.15 and $16 per day respectively) and Laguna de los Verdes ($16 and $18.65 per day respectively), as well as to Laguna San Pablín, Púlpito del Diablo and Laguna Grande de la Sierra. Mountain climbing expeditions can also be arranged. Kabañas Kanwara's shop sells weavings by the U'wa and Hormiguitas de la Sierra weaving cooperative in Güicán.

Getting There:
From the Kanwara turn-off to Kabañas Kanwara is 4.8 kilometers (3 miles). he rough road is steep, climbing 340 meters (550 feet). You can phone lodge to meet you at the crossroads where the bus will drop you off.
