Curità is a typical Santandereano village of narrow calles lined with white-washed homes. Its residents are famous for their artesanÃa in fique, or agave sisal. This hamlet offers more to the casual visitor than just shopping. Here you can scrabble underground in Cueva de la Vaca and Cueva del Yeso, or go horseback riding through the countryside. Near Curità are the crystalline swimming holes Balneario Pescaditos, where you can camp for free (said to be safe) and rappel the cliffs.
