Mid Range Hotels in San Gil

+ Add a Photo

By Lorraine Caputo

Accommodation in San Gil is surprisingly inexpensive, and provides good-quality service. Cheaper hostels as generally found on Carrera 11 between Calles 10 and 13; these generally run from $5-8 for one person. By law, hotels must display their prices and may not charge more than the highest shown. Bargain in low season, or temporada baja. Most inns double or triple rates in the high season (temporada alta); make reservations at these times. There are several camping options outside San Gil. A recommended, free site is Pescadarito, near Curití.
