Colombia's national phone carrier, Telecom, charges $0.10 per minute for local and national calls, and from $0.30 per minute for international calls (daily 6 a.m.-10 p.m. Calle 13 9-70, Parque La Libertad). A national or local call from shops cost on average $0.15 per minute. Throughout San Gil you can find Internet cafés; most charge $0.80 per hour. One that costs only $0.60 per hour is Puerto PC, which also has special discounts, Skype, and inexpensive international calls, at $0.25 per minute (Monday-Saturday 8 a.m.-12:30 p.m., 2-8:30 p.m.; Sunday, holidays 8:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Carrera 9 10-65, local 107, Edifico Venecia). Correos de Colombia /Adpostal is in the Cajasan mall on Carrera 10, between Calles 10 and 11 (Monday-Friday 8 a.m.-noon, 2-6 p.m., Saturday 8 a.m.-noon).
