San Gil's Oficina de Turismo is located at the front gate of Parque Gallineral (daily 8 a.m.-6 p.m., Tel: 7-724-4372). Unfortunately, it only provides the most basic information, none of which is directed to the independent traveler, and a very small, error-filled map. Many hotels do have information on-hand for their guests. You can read more on what San Gil has to offer at www.sangil.com.co.
