Considered by some to have the best coffee in San Gil, La Polita is much more than just a good stiff cup of joe. At any time of the day you can come in to have a bit of the hair of the dog that nipped you, a stiff shot of any kind of liquor. It seems everyone comes to La Polita, so at times it can be tough to find a table. Check out the paintings strewn across the walls, which showcase the region’s best talents. Open Monday-Thursday 7 a.m.-7 p.m., Friday and Saturday 7 a.m.-1 a.m., Sunday 7 a.m.-noon.
