Restaurante Rogelia presents typical dishes of the Santander region, including cabro con pipatoria ($5.30) and carne orneada (beef that has been marinated, then dried and grilled, $4.20). The bistec de res a caballo is not horse meat, but rather a beef steak topped with an egg ($3.70). To sample a bit of everything, ask for a picada platter ($8-10.50). The comida corriente costs $2.35; only the bandeja (main dish) is $2.10. After 4 p.m. you can order up a pizza hot out of the oven. Restaurante Rogelia also serves breakfast ($1.85-2.65). Open daily 7 a.m.-8 p.m.
