Most "agencies" that exist in San Gil are actually booking agents, arranging your excursion with one of the four tour operators in the town. All offer rafting on the smaller rivers, paragliding, caving, rappelling, and guided tours to Barichara and the waterfalls. San Gil is an OK place to paraglide if you have some experience; however, if you want to take courses, keep in mind that present teachers speak only Spanish.
