When in Tunja, do as the Tunjanos do: They start the weekend night rumba by going to one of the many cafés around the plaza for a small bite to eat and a bit of liquor to lubricate the dance machinery after a week of work. Come ten or so, they head for a nightclub. The most happening discos are in the Zona Rosa and around the University, on the north side of the city.
