A creaky old building, like tattered lace, the Hotel Dux is a classic place to stay. For several generations, the friendly family has lodged visitors to Tunja. Rooms are large with at least two beds. All, save one, have private bath, and all have television. You can ask permission to wash your clothes.At the front entrance is a café run by Marta, who will serve you one dynamite cup of coffee. Marta & her sisters Luzalba and Edilma--who administer the hotel--are always ready to chat and ask if you had slept well.
