Budget Hotels in Tunja
Good, inexpensive lodging is difficult to find in Tunja. The cheapest hostels are near the bus terminal—an area that is said to be unsafe and to have a lot of prostitution and drugs. Better hotels are found in the center of the city, a steep, up-hill climb, though expect to pay a few dollars more. At present, several of the more expensive inns are under renovation.
