Ristorante-Caffe La Buona Vita

Location:
Carrera 9 23-45
Tunja, Colombia

Restaurant

By Lorraine Caputo

A Tuscany-country feel pervades every one of the many rooms and patio of the well-appointed Ristorante-Caffe La Buona Vita. Is that what draws so many of Tunja's wealthier citizens and visitors, or is it the distinguished service--or the home-made pastas created by the chef who learned his trade in Italy? Begin your meal in good paisano fashion with an antipasto ($3.70-10.50). Then move on to the pasta ($7.40-10.50) or a wood-fire-oven-baked pizza (3.95-13.70, depending on size) or one of the numerous meat or seafood entrées ($8.15-14.20). Unfortunately, there are no dishes suitable for vegetarians. A variety of non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks can accompany your repast; wine is sold by the bottle only. Open Monday-Saturday 10 a.m.-10 p.m., Sunday and holidays 10 a.m.-4 p.m.

Traveler Reviews of

la buona vita experience

Rating: 100%

This is a place about family. That's how you feel when you arrive. It's a great place to go with your kids or your mom or dad or your girl. There is great food, a great place and a great chef.
